I’m Chad Peterson, founder of Sunstone Benefits — a local benefits agency proudly serving working families, veterans, and businesses across Michigan, Texas and New Mexico.

At Sunstone Benefits, we partner with business owners, veterans, and hardworking families—at no cost—to provide meaningful, comprehensive benefits. Our mission is simple: to ensure that every employee, veteran, and family we serve has access to lasting protection and peace of mind, with coverage designed to support them for a lifetime and beyond.

My dedication to helping others began long before I started Sunstone Benefits. While working in New Orleans, I began serving homeless veterans under the I-10 overpass, offering them the same breakfasts and lunches my film crews would have discarded. That experience changed me — and it shaped my commitment to supporting veterans and families in need.

Today, I continue that mission by sponsoring veterans who need help navigating the VA system, finding housing, or accessing critical resources. I’m also proud to support A Positive Somebody, a nonprofit that provides positive coping mechanisms for children, helping them build confidence and resilience for the future.

Through Sunstone Benefits, I’ve combined my professional expertise with my personal calling — helping families and veterans secure the protection, support, and peace of mind they truly deserve.
